Cue this cute-looking leather wallet case from Mujjo that offers decent protection and space for a few credit cards. How does it perform in real-life?

There’s some excellent craftsmanship going on here. Made with high-quality full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, this phone case is lined with microfibre so it’s kind to your phone. Although the version we tried was for the iPhone 12 Pro, it’s also sold for the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max, with cases starting at US$44.90 to US$54.90.

As well as a large cut-out on the back to reveal the iPhone 12 Pro’s camera array, this phone case adds covers for the volume rockers and the on/off/confirm switch. There’s also a gap at the bottom for the Lightning input and the stereo speakers. However, the key feature is the wallet. It’s enough to hold one or maybe two credit cards.

Straight out of the box this phone case’s wallet can hold one credit card, but it quickly stretches to two. However, it’s pretty tight and we’re hoping the leather expands quickly. After all, who travels with just one card? Happily, there’s enough room to slip in a ticket or a receipt, too.

Amid an excellent quality build and we can see this phone case lasting for a long time. That makes it perfect for travel, of course, but the addition of a credit card slot is really handy.
