Some phone cases look good. Others offer protection. Rarely do those two characteristics meet head-on, but that’s exactly what the reasonably slimline Mous Limitless case does, and best of all, it does it affordably.

Mous Limitless: overview

The Mous Limitless is a pretty simple case. At least, it looks that way. Our review sample was surprisingly sized to fit a plethora of iPhones (6/6/7/8/XR/XS/11/11ProMax). It’s a snug fit, yet somehow inside is AiroShock tech to give military-grade protection. In the box is also a screen protector and applicator. Nice bonus!

Mous Limitless: military-grade protection

If you’re going to charge more than a few quid for a phone case, you had better make it worthwhile. The Mous Limitless uses AiroShock, a smart material capable of absorbing tremendous impact while ensuring the cases are still slim. It involves injecting the material with micro crystals that turn into micro air pockets at high temperatures. The air inside these micro air pockets act as tiny springs, significantly dampening the impact of falls.

Mous Limitless: style and features

Despite its drop-proof design, people tend to buy cases on how they look. Cue the Mous Limitless range: wood, leather, carbon fibre, and shell. Our sample had a wood effect, which looked great, while on the inside is not only a nice swilry patten in the plastic, but a moulded-out area to store a SIM card and a SIM card remover. For travellers who need to swap-out a SIM when buying local network access, it’s genius!

Mous Limitless phone case: conclusion

That SIM card storage is the final straw. We already liked the drop-proof protection – always useful when travelling – and the lightweight design. With a snug fit, a variety of natural materials looks, plus SIM card storage, the Mous Limitless proves a fine phone case for travel.
