You’re on a mountainside. A cold wind is raging, but you’ve come prepared, with plenty of layers. You lean over to tie a shoelace and the back of your fleece rides-up, exposing your back to the elements. Ouch! We’ve all been in such a situation, but it’s one that ends right here with this well-fitting fleece from EDZ.

Soft feel

EDZ’s Yeti fleece is soft. So very soft. It’s got the kind of luxurious feel that many fleeces have that are sold in winter, but this ones different; it’s designed for the outdoors. As such, the design is all about function, with a rather baggy look to the body. This, of course, is ideal for walkers because it fits inside it base-layers and scarves very easily, and allows more movement than most.

Tight yet roomy

And while the fleece isn’t particularly tight-fitting, it’s always warm thanks to the way it fits. Tough elastic closures around the cuffs – complete with thumb-holes – and waist that’s both elastic and lower at the back keeps the Yeti firmly in place. No-one wearing the Yeti is going to get a cold bottom.

Easy to carry

And yet, despite all this great design and an impressive warmth level, the Yeti is pretty lightweight. It’s easy enough to stow in a backpack. Available in S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL sizes for men and in 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 for women, the Yeti comes in black, blue and red.

Price as reviewed: £60.00
